Tweed comes in rich greens, burgundy, and bloodwort shades, all hand dyed onto a 85% super soft merino with 15% of added silk, making a gorgeous lux yarn.
The yarn gives beautiful stitch definition and your finished garment will have a soft drape to it. Not so much of a drape that you cannot knit cardigans or jerseys from, but that softness with an admired lustre.
Each hank has approx 100gms/400m.
In one of the additional photos I have teamed Tweed up with coordinating other colourways of KELP and BLOODWORT as an example that would make a beautiful shawl or wrap.
Recommended needles 3.25mm - 3.75mm or needles to give tension required.
A gentle machine wash makes this yarn an easy care option. I use a laundry bag for my knitted items when washing them. Use cold or warm water. Pull back into shade and dry flat and in the shade to maintain original colour.
Always roll or fold your garment to store so that it will maintain shape and size.
