Kelp is a semi-solid colour, so there is some slight tone difference, which gives more interest to the resulting garment. We have hand dyed this onto a super soft 85% merino and 15% silk yarn base. Not only is the yarn super soft, but it has a luscious  looking luster and it will give lovely soft drape to your finished garment.
 
I have 2 slightly different batches of this colour, they would be fine together if you use two hanks at the same time, knitting 2 rows from each hank.

There is approx 100gms/400m per hank.
 
Recommended needles 2.75mm - 3.25mm or needles that give you the tension you require.
 
Gentle machine wash on a delicate cycle with a mild detergent.  This yarn is fine to be spun dry in your machine.  Pull garment into shape, dry flat and in the shade to prolong the original colour of your precious hand made creations. Always store your hand made items rolled or flat to maintain shape and size.
