BELLA ROSE was hand dyed so I could knit myself the Bellarose shawl  by knitting pattern designer, Ambah O'Brian. The shawl's name spoke of dainty, pretty, soft delicate folds of fabric, and I wanted to create a yarn that indeed expressed these attributes as well as be able to show of the simple, yet elegant lace, in the pattern. So BELLA ROSE was created which is a complex collection of different coloured speckles, on a base of pink, that knits up into a beautiful soft draped shawl.
 
See the photo of my part of my shawl. The yarn is 85% NZ merino + 15% silk. Beautiful soft, squishy yarn that has just enough drape that will show of your garment but not stretch so much that your garment 'grows' while you wear it. Perfect for any garment including infants.
 
Approx 100gms/400m per hank. Recommended needles 2.75mm - 3 25mm
 
Gentle hand wash, pull garment gently back into shape, dry flat on a towel, in the shade to maintain the original colours of your precious created items.
 
Always store you garments folded or rolled to maintain shape and size.
